During this time, an opportunity is provided for persons in the audience to make a brief statement to the ECHD Board, not to exceed three minutes, on issues or concerns within the jurisdiction of the ECHD Board but not otherwise covered by the agenda.

The El Camino Healthcare District Board of Directors approved $7 million in funding to support local health initiatives for fiscal year 2018 through its Community Benefit Grant Program.
El Camino Healthcare District Board Member Resigns
El Camino Healthcare District Board member Dennis Chiu has decided to resign from his position on the five-member publicly elected El Camino Healthcare District Board and the El Camino Hospital Board. He has served on the El Camino Healthcare District Board since first being elected in November 2012 and joined the El Camino Hospital Board shortly thereafter.

El Camino Healthcare District Board of Directors announced the election of Robert Rebitzer, as the newest member of the El Camino Hospital Board of Directors. Mr. Rebitzer’s three-year term is effective July 1, 2017.

The El Camino Healthcare District Board of Directors unanimously voted to increase the number of El Camino Hospital Board members to 11, including a non-voting CEO, at their May 15th Special District Board Meeting.
