El Camino Healthcare District Board of Directors announced the election of Lanhee J. Chen, JD, PhD, as the newest member of the El Camino Hospital Board of Directors. Dr. Chen’s three-year term is effective July 1, 2015.

El Camino Healthcare District Board of Directors Vice Chair Dennis W. Chiu, JD, has been selected as the recipient of the Association of California Healthcare Districts’ (ACHD) Healthcare District Trustee of the Year award. The award was presented at ACHD’s Annual Meeting on May 5, 2016, in Monterey, CA.

The El Camino Healthcare District Board of Directors unanimously voted to increase the number of El Camino Hospital Board members to 11, including a non-voting CEO, at their May 15th Special District Board Meeting.
